US Space Program and Exploration

NASA activities are basic to discovering answers for natural issues. By and by I feel that sufficient use of room science will permit astrophysicists to investigate the universe and advance decisive exploration. Such examinations won't just answer appropriate cultural issues yet will likewise prompt the progression of the general public. I accept that Space investigation is an Invaluable instrument to the advancement of nature. On an individual perspective, space investigation sufficient financing will aid the progressing of societies and social orders. It is an issue that prompts people expanding beneficiary Intent In the field of sciences and other fields.Despite the Issue having questions, space investigation keeps on getting considerable help from government officials and others in the network. The universe of today demonstrates that advancement In the field of science and innovation will Improve the occupation of social orders. America is diminishing its spending to NASA, which has the support of supervising the greater part of the investigation activities. This isn't fitting given that different nations are proceeding with Investigation and achievement will have the Intention of bettering the employment of their citizens.I think space is as of now at a basic level and the United States ought to reinforce its exploration activities. Space investigation has been driving investigations of different planets and their practices. There is an explanation that typically illegal blended response in the network. There are people that express that it is basic to determine issues of earth before the assessment of different planets. There are various government officials that instigate comparative opinions during their battles and political assemblies. In 2006, commentator Katie Court in remembrance of Sputnik. Said that NASA demand for $17 billion was unbelievable.According to her, this measure of cash could discover application In a bunch of exercises directly here on earth. Investigating the circumstance she neglected to understand that space investigation will shield the world from likely dangers. I have a conviction that considering the universe will give answers for potential pandemics confronting earth. Such pandemics incorporate environmental change and sunlight based flares. The current issue of room investigation is misconception. Numerous people consider It as an indulgent method of going through American resident assessment cash. Legislators prescribe that financing to NASA ought to stop. They suggest that the legislature moves such assets towards cultural ventures, for example, wellbeing advancement. Before toys premise. My appraisal is that the current issues come from the way that, during that period, advancement of planes for space investigation was for status. These days, the explanation prompting space investigation is to comprehend different marvels happening in the space and influencing the earth. Such investigations will aid to a comprehension of such angles and create significant careful steps. Likewise, it is conceivable to direct investigation of Mars for the chance f supporting human life.Another issue that I anticipate frustrating the improvement of room investigation is reports by media houses. Numerous individuals don't restrict to space investigation, yet it is because of their absence of satisfactory data. Media just reports once things turn out badly with associations supporting investigation of the space. The feeling that individuals get from media is that there is no advantage finishing from space investigation however extreme utilization of citizens' cash. When people produce a recognition concerning a something it is hard to persuade such individuals otherwise. It is hard to pass the data that space investigation redirects assets of United States to activities that target taking care of earth issues. It is urgent for individuals to have the data that answers for the current earth issues are in space so they change their conviction about space investigation. I believe that answers for these cultural issues would require guaranteeing that residents have sufficient data that will permit them to settle on sound choices. Numerous individuals accept that the legislature ought to redirect NASA financing to cultural programs.Looking at the 2007 spending plan coordinating NASA subsidizing into social subsidizing would mean expanding the later to $ 1. 597 trillion from $ 1. 581. I figure it is innocent to imagine that a 0. 6% addition would have any critical effects on society. Then again, cutting social spending by 1% would expand NASA spending by twofold. This would expand investigations in space that would give answers for various issues at present confronting the world. Data securing can help residents to comprehend that investigating the space is certifiably not a misuse of citizen's money. In expansion, space program prompts the improvement of the general public by giving neighborly arrangements. Government officials ought to likewise bolster the program on the off chance that it will endure. Numerous lawmakers decide not to participate in the discussion about investigation of the space. Strangely, lawmakers keep on making light of the job of room investigation by demonstrating that it is useless. Unraveling the current cultural conviction that US space program isn't basic, space investigation require satisfactory help from government officials. Supporter of the program should likewise stop playing protective and rather grasp their importance. They should demand the administration that the space program require additional financing by having noteworthy logical exploration and ends. In the event that space programs center around taking care of cultural issues, there will be a move from numerous individuals excusing the program to supporting it. Considering the space and putting together their examination with respect to issues that will prompt tackling issues is the arrangement. Studies ought to incorporate exercises, for example, decreasing the impacts of sun powered flares on correspondence or environmental change will prompt its help. Space projects and investigations are essential to the general public of today. It has and watch all planets. This is through giving social orders satisfactory data with respect to the space. In a model, research concerning Venus shows that there is a disturbing nursery impact. As of now, the world is wrestling with the truth of crumbling atmosphere on earth. Examining the occasions prompting the current green house impacts in Venus can help with tackling that issue. It would mean sparing ages that would some way or another endure if there is an absence of required data. On the off chance that different nations investigate and find such arrangements it will imply that they will take care of the issues of their nation, which will progress such economies technologically.Observations made on planet d amages show that it needs water. There is no single stream in Mars, which implies that there were events that lead to the vanishing of water in this planet. Governments would endure shame in case of elimination of the world because of absence of appropriate investigation measures. US space programs are indispensable to social orders of the earth on the off chance that it will prompt the acknowledgment of answers for issues influencing the world. It is a fundamental cultural issue that require preventative methodology. On an individual perspective, United State government should expand financing of room programs.Failure to help this program will prompt its destruction. Fundamental exploration will end as a result of Space program disappointment. US residents will pass up on an appropriate chance to discover answers for their issues. I see that space investigation program is pivotal to the universe of today. Conversations contained in this demonstrate it needs satisfactory data that p rompts people's threatening vibe against the program. Many have a conviction that it is wastage of citizens' cash. Exploration shows that it is conceivable to fathom certain cultural issues utilizing such programs. It is search acknowledgment that drove nations, for example, India, Russia, and China to propel their innovations in this field. Perceptions of Venus could result to answers for green house impacts and the environmental change. Fruitful exploration of Mars could give satisfactory data with respect to its absence of water, which could be a future issue to earth. Such arrangements are cultural and would prompt the advancement of the general public and networks of United States and the world on the loose. It is as per this I accept that United States government should expand its spending on space investigation programs.

Malaria - Research Paper Essays - Plasmodium, Malaria, Apicomplexa

Malaria - Research Paper Research Paper- Malaria Malaria is a disease caused by a parasite that lives both in mosquitoes and humans (9). Malaria lives in tropical and sub-tropical areas such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Haiti, India, The Dominican Republic, Africa, Papua New Guinea, and Central and South America (3). Malaria is one of the largest diseases around the world. About one out of every 20 people on earth, almost 300 million people, suffer from malaria yearly. Almost 2 million of those 300 million people die each year. Many new drugs are being tested to prevent malaria but no sure vaccine has been discovered (1). Malaria has terrorized this earth since the mid-Pleistocene age. No one knows just when malaria showed up in the Western Hemisphere however. Many say that malaria roamed the New World before the Europeans came over. Yet others will tell you that the Western Hemisphere had no contact with malaria until the end of the fifteenth century. Many other diseases similar in destruction as malaria were brought over from the old world from Europe and Africa (5). Malaria limited colonization all over the world. West Africa and Northern Australia were major hot spot for malaria attacks during the colonization of those areas. Malaria also resulted in many casualties in wars form Ancient Greece to Vietnam and present (2). The Old World supposedly gave malaria to the New World. However, the New World found the first effective treatment for the disease. In 1632, a piece of bark form a Peruvian Tree was taken to Europe by a Spanish priest. The bark was soon found to be a remedy to the constant fevers. Malaria was extremely active in Ancient Rome and Europe. However, it is proven that the malaria back then was much less destructive than it has been in recent centuries. This is because P. falciparum, the most deadly type of malaria, was not present back in Ancient Europe. After the fall of the Roman Empire, the History of malaria is unknown for quite some time in Ancient Europe. It was not until the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries that malaria became a problem again in Europe. The Netherlands, southern Scandinavia, Poland and Russia all experienced malaria terror. Ronald Ross was the first man to reveal the development of the malarial parasite in the mosquito (5). The new era of malariology came in the last two decades of the nineteenth century (5). Earlier theories on malaria included an idea by Alphonse Laveran in 1880, who claimed that malaria came form the mud. Malaria was often thought of as coming form bad air as well. No one knew what it cam from, they just new it was present in swamps were there was mud and bad air. However, this new era included the idea that parasites were the root to malaria. This idea is what Ronald Ross had explained. (2). This new era led to the new ideas for malaria control, which took place in the first couple of decades of the twentieth century. Malaria control was strengthened in the 1930's when synthetic antimalarials. They were very useful in the treatment of malaria. In the 1940's DDT was introduced. This was the first pesticide to be used in order to kill mosquitoes (5). This new pesticide led people to believe that with the right malaria control they could wipe out malaria. DDT was extremely successful e specially in India where a DDT spraying program brought malaria cases down by thousands in 1950. Then the mosquitoes became immune to DDT, DDT became expensive, and India had a great big problem all over again. From 1920 to 1950 antibiotics were the most widely used and best treatment for malaria. Since then, no new history has been made. The US Government continues to spend very low income on malaria research and we still have a malaria problem today (2). There are four kinds of malaria that infect humans. P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. ovale, and P. malariae are the four diseases humans are endanger of getting. The most severe of them all is P. falciparum. P. falciparum has horrible effects. The effects include fever and chills occurring at irregular intervals. P. vivax is the most common

The JFK Assasination essays

The JFK Assasination essays In a world with so many problems- crime, drugs, murder, poverty- Americans should be able to trust in the government for help. However, it is not safe to do so. Thus is the outcome of the Kennedy assassination. While the government was so busy trying to convince the public that Lee Harvey Oswald brutally murdered John F. Kennedy, they missed one important thing. The truth. The facts. Insufficient medical and hospital procedures, suspicious incidents during the Dallas motorcade, the impossible Magic Bullet theory, and countless other happenings- these are not just things the American public dreamed up in their heads. They had to begin finding the real truth on their own, for the government had betrayed the American people. Some of the most significant facts that hint the assassination was a conspiracy by the government come from the hospitals where Kennedy was examined immediately after the assassination. Dr. Charles Crenshaw, MD, who was in the emergency room at Parkland Hospital before and during the Presidents death, claims that the wound in Kennedys neck was much to small to be an exit wound, and was clearly an entry wound. However, pictures taken at Bethsada Hospital reveal a much larger neck wound than had been seen at Parkland. Apparently someone had mangled the wound to make it appear as an exit wound. But who, and why? Was it to support the Lone Gunman theory? If it was, it failed to do so. Another startling piece of information was concerning Kennedys brain. When the President was ordered out of Parkland without an autopsy, he still had a brain. However, when it the body arrived in Bethsada, the brain had suddenly disappeared! As if that was not mysterious enough, Dr. Crenshaw, the last per son to see Kennedys body before it was flown to Bethsada, said the body was put in a coffin, but when it arrived at Destination B, it was in a body bag, and a different coffin. This ...

Incorporating criticism into your arguements Essay

Incorporating criticism into your arguements - Essay Example Melville’s story is about the dehumanizing effects of the new social order. It is situated in the business center of New York, at Wall Street. Melville’s Narrator has no name, thus symbolically he has lost his personhood, his humanity. He is a lawyer; however, the Narrator is quick to point out that he is not a champion of justice or defender of right. Instead, he describes himself a â€Å"one of those unambitious lawyers who never addresses a jury, or in any way draws down public applause; but in the cool tranquility of a snug retreat, do a snug business among rich men’s bonds and mortgages and title-deeds.† In short, the Narrator is a man whose life is dedicated to the pursuit of wealth and leisure. In a time when commerce and industrialization is on the rise, his job is to aid the newly rich in securing their property, their titles and bonds. On the other hand, Bartleby is the only character in the story with a real name – not a nickname like Turkey, Nipper or Ginger Nut. Bartleby is a man who is entirely disconnected with the world of the wealthy. Sad, quiet and miserable, he writes from morning to night, lives in the office, is surrounded by blank walls with little light, does not eat dinners, and does not have any friends. However, when asked by the Narrator to perform some simple tasks, he flatly, though politely, refuses, without any excuse except that he does not prefer to. Here is depicted the conflict of the regimen of the workplace and personal will. Bartleby is insistent that he abide by his own free will and not be dictated upon by those with the money. It appears, then, that the Narrator, who is schooled, titled and honoured, could be bought, but Bartleby, poor, simple and unknown, could not. Even when the Narrator gives him twenty dollars’ premium over his wages, he quietly shows his refusal. In the story, one cannot help but attach

Criminal Procedures Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

Criminal Procedures - Essay Example At first blush, it may seem that the plain view doctrine is applicable in this case. The essence of the plain view doctrine is that it allows law enforcement officers to effect warrantless seizures when the evidence/contraband is in plain view. The officer may not disturb other objects to obtain a better view. In this case, the purse was hidden under a seat and was clearly not in plain view. The correct exception to the Fourth Amendment that would make the motion fail is the â€Å"search incident to a lawful arrest† exception. The Court extended the reach of a search incident to a lawful arrest from a search within the â€Å"immediate reach† of the arrested individual to a â€Å"protective sweep†, so as for better to retrieve weapons or contraband that the accused could have hidden. In the case of New York v. Belton, the Court established the doctrine that â€Å"when a police officer has made a lawful custodial arrest of an occupant of an automobile, the Fourth Amendment allows the officer to search the passenger compartment of that vehicle as a contemporaneous incident of arrest.† The situation of Deft falls squarely within the exception. Thus, he cannot invoke the Fourth amendment to exclude the purse as evidence. One of the fundamental rights enshrined in this Amendment is the so-called Miranda Rights, created by virtue of Miranda v. Arizona, which essentially confers on policemen the duty to inform the accused of his right to remain silent and to be assisted by counsel.

The Revolutions Essay Example for Free

The Revolutions Essay A revolution is a relatively sudden and absolutely drastic change. This may be a change in the social or political institutions over a relatively short period of time or a major change in its culture or economy. Some revolutions are led by the majority of the populace of a nation, others by a small band of revolutionaries. These periods are called revolutions as they are capable of bringing significant modifications in an existing constitution. Within revolution itself, however, repetition also plays a crucial role.    The revolution must strike twice: once for the form, once for the content. Revolution and revolutionary attempts which occur in the present appear as a means of vindicating the past, of redeeming the past.   Every revolutionary effort seeks to correct the mistakes of the past.   Revolution is the repetition of past mistakes, in a way which vindicates the present, and provides for the future.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚     Revolutionary changes are  taking place on a gigantic scale under our very eyes without our  realization of their trend and significance. We are in the midst  of the mad whirl of this raging world hurricane so that our mental  vision is obscured; our mind is paralyzed by the very magnitude  of the furious struggle of frenzied social and psychic forces. Man and  society are now being forged into new forms. In theoretical terms, the direct cause of a revolution is generally expressed in terms of two sets of conditions objective and subjective factors. Objective Factors are the things outside your head, independent (at least directly) from your thoughts and emotions. If you get laid off work, if a war starts, if it rains on you on your way to the pub, you cant change things by closing your eyes and wishing them away. Of course, your thoughts may have an indirect effect, when they lead to action, like joining a union or remembering your umbrella, but  generally you dont have much control over what happens in the world . The objective factors in a revolution are events outside the control of any individual or small group, such as a stock-market crash or an invasion, which lead people to re-examine their society, and, possibly, act to change it. For example, changes in British society at the end of the second World War2 were triggered to a certain extent by the hardships of war. Subjective Factors, on the   other hand, are the things inside your head your thoughts on life , the universe and everything, down to whether you think it will start raining while youre on   your way to the pub (it will bring your umbrella!). Since the subjective factors in a revolution are those that depend on individual people, they are obviously the ones that revolutionary groups try to change. Of course, there can be no strict division between subjective and objective factors it is the thoughts in your head that decide whether or not you will join a union, vote for a strike or pass a picket, which side of the barricade you will be on. Equally, your decisions, and the actions that result from them, will have an effect on the ideas of the people around you. Opportunity for revolution only arises at particular times, when both the subjective and objective conditions necessary for success are present at the same time. A social revolution is a fundamental and relatively rapid transformation of social, political, and economic institutions, and it is accompanied by mass-based insurrection. Further, change in the socio-political and economic institutions has to occur in a mutually reinforcing fashion and the change till now has brought capitalism and socialism and has created mass – production techniques without which it is difficult to even imagine life right now. Social factors responsible for a revolution to occur encompass a wide range starting from the social ills to the wide spread communal disharmony. Society plays a crucial role in giving a drastic kick in a revolution to occur. Failure of reforms, natural calamities and lack of transparency can be the possible social causes accelerating a revolution. Intellectual causes are difficult to quantify in terms of their effects, but they are nonetheless important in effecting actions and ideologies of participants. Intellectual causes can range from  economic exploitation to discrimination at various levels.   Basically be it any sort of revolution it starts at an intellectual level. While the non-dogmatic and open-ended character of a tradition does ease the problems of modernization, especially in the initial stages, the same tradition must be able to maintain social   order. Political stability is one of the basic conditions for sustained development.  Such stability stems from shared value system emanating usually from religion in most traditional societies. The value system engenders social consensus and makes political stability possible. A well-ordered society is as important a consideration as economic resources before the consideration of any investment company. Since modernization is essentially a vocational civilization, it presupposes discipline and work culture. Connections between literate culture and modernity are obvious, but often ignored in development literature. Industry runs on oil but modernity operates on the basis of literacy as a minimum requirement. In due course high literate cultures flourished in societies where world religions had penetrated. This is where the transformation has its base culture too is a dynamic term it keeps changing for the better and the cultures which resist change are blown away with the Wind of Revolution and a new modified culture sets in . Thus the cultural preconditions of a revolution are exigencial necessity by which modernization began in leading Asian societies , instrumental utility that drives societies towards industrialization that can produce power , plenty and progress and elective affinity refers to the way in which the members of a society easily accept those changes or apparently new ideas which have echoed in their past experiences. 3 Revolutions and revolts in general are connected in some way or other with direct, obvious, physical discomfort, especially hunger, and possibly lack of clothing and fuel. Not that this is the cause of revolutions; the causes are quite different. A match will cause an explosion in a powder magazine, but not in a tank of water; and similarly a famine will bring about a revolution in a society where the underlying conditions are such as to favor the spread of such ideas and where other proper circumstances are present. Now, all such matters as lack of nutrition and lack of heat are dependent in great degree on the climate. In a cold country, a severe winter is directly a cause of physical discomfort; people freeze in such weather. Further, the early frosts preceding a cold winter lessen the crop, transportation becomes difficult, and generally a famine is more likely to result in such a year. In a warm country, a similar result occurs when the summer is excessively hot, the heat parching and drying the crops so that food is scarce can at one stage lead to a revolution . When people are involved in struggle, even for limited goals, this causes them to question wider issues, and become more open to new and radical ideas. Aristotle rightly said that â€Å" Revolutions are not about trifles , but spring from trifles.† The consequences of a revolution can have a wide range starting from discontent in some to contentment in majority , from undemocratic to a democratic consensus from efforts to life sacrifices and from a smaller to a wider horizon in life . The revolution is a median point this side of spontaneity against the prospect of waiting for the revolution to create itself according to Lenin. Thus history itself heals no wounds, history itself is not an autonomous abstract process, but is the result of labor in any sense: intellectual, manual, or evolutionary. Snow & Cold Weather :: essays research papers

Snow and Cold Weather   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   My essay will focus on the topic of snow and the cold weather that happen during our Minnesota winters and how that affects us in our everyday life.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  I will begin with the water freezing which happens often in this area when the water freezes you can’t take showers, do the dishes, flush the toilet, or even cook and it can also be very costly to have repaired. Also many car accidents occur during the winter months due to the sloppy and icy road conditions caused by freezing rain and snow which can give you very little control while you are driving a few of these accidents result in death or serious injury.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Another factor in cold weather is depression it can very easily happen to anyone when it gets so cold outside that you don’t want to leave your house. And it is often very dark or gloomy outside and that can also make you feel down and out and depressed.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  When you get a big snow eventually you have to shovel. Last winter sixty people in New York alone had heart attacks and died from shoveling. People need to know when to stop and take a break to prevent this from happing. Sickness is yet another factor you find with the cold weather the flue and pneumonia are some of the most common illnesses we see during these months they both can be fatal.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The last factor I will discuss although there are many more is hypothermia which is caused by being exposed to the cold for a long period of time and your bodies core temperature drops at a rapid rate. It can happen if you happen to get lost in the woods, get stuck in the ditch for a period of time, and camping in the winter months although there are many other instances for with this could happen.

Personal Networking

Personal networking is a concept that has gained much relevance overtime it has especially been advanced by capitalism in that man tends to utilize labor from other as well as resources at his / her disposal to make ends meet. In the process it becomes important that one must often rely on peers and acquaintances in order to be successful in both social – economic arena as well as political arena. Although the term is controversial as at is mysterious, many explanations have surfaced. For instance there are those who argue that networking is morally wrong for it leads to marginalization or at least exemplifies it. In that regard those who take that view are opposed to networking concept mainly because it puts some people at disadvantage and this leads to inequality. For an instance in highly unprofessional business environments, job advertisements are not done appropriately. Therefore getting employed in such an environment requires one to have access to insider information on the company. This comes in the form of how networked one is. Networking simply refers to endless efforts of that are put to get connected or make connections for as to facilitate changes with other people or business. It actually involves knowing people as other businesses. It also entails developing communication process with these people and businesses. The communication involved here should be critical and of the accepted language that is persuasive and attracting should be encouraged. This attracts more people who in this are the customers as well as promoting god relationship with other businesses sometimes that leads to increase in profits and consequently success of the business. Networking involves exchanging, interacting and exchanging ideas or referrals, which it demands that trust must be, build between or among the involved parties. Networking is done anywhere for instance when tow people meet at a certain place they can decide to exchange their business cards. This can also happen to more than two people and it is very help full since incase one of them lands on to a job he/she can contact the others. Hence e networking is a very highly appreciated practice since it can alter these living standards. Networking is done al the time and is very essential especially when a newly established business is in need for a fast growth and success. It should network with the other businesses. The managers should network with those of other businesses so that they stand in a position of acquiring ideas that can help them cause tremendous growth to their businesses whenever they apply them. It should also seek to network with customers, offering quick and standard services so that the customers rest assures and trust the business in all its endeavors This will lead to customers recommending the business, which is simply networking. Through giving recommendations on the well services offered by the business, the customers will have networked with the business and more customers will chip in to benefit from the services. This way, the business will attain a fast growth since profits will be high. Networking is very important also for individuals who are engaged in provision of quality products or those who are involved in doing quality work. If these people really want success in their undertakings, they should interact with other people and give out their products. They will also in return get a lot of positive recommendations or reinforcement from the people and this is all what networking entails. Personal networking entails Personal networking is very important and can even help someone in finding a new job. As long as one has quality performance, one just need to reach out for those people who are in the highest ranks in the job and this will enable the person get a job easily. In order to network, one needs to know quite a lot of people, as well as establishing relationships with new people Businesses that practice networking establish very good relationship with the customers as well as the employers. Through networking, the businesses are able to reveal the services that they offer to their customers as well as how it operates. A good relationship between the business and the customers is established and this leads to fast growth of the business (Blyler, & Roundy,1993). Through networking also, businesses are able to open up their suppliers and if for example the business is unstable, a consensus may be reached for the supplier to be collecting their dues after an agreed period of tie. This promotes fast growth of the business. Every business organization should have a well-established communication method for it to experience success. Communication is a very important tool in business since it is only through communicating that the business can access its suppliers as well as other business counterparts. It is also important since it helps the business to pass information to its customers for example information about change of location, change in costs, or even introduction of a new property or service in the business. There quite different methods of communication in any business organization. These may include (a) Written method of communication This is a method of communication that uses letters to pass information. It is useful especially for the deaf or those people who have hearing problems, though they can still use sign language. Written method of communication is effective since the message is conveyed very fast once it is read by a few people. Written method or simply use of letters can be essential both for internal communication as well as external communication. They can be used to communicate to workers on pay rises, disciplinary measures as well as promotions. They can also include use of diagrams but this mostly depends on the nature of the message. This method of communication is cheap since no electronics are used moreover, there is a record kept for reference purposes. It also contains a lot of information especially when use of figures is practiced. However, written method of communication can be sometimes unreliable since it can be distorted or get lost. There is also possibility of not reaching the addressed people and can also be inconvenient method especially when the information to be communicated is urgent. This is due to the fact it takes quite a lot of time to construct the letters. There is no evidence whether the message has been delivered and received by the concerned people unless the concerned provides feedback. Additionally, the written form of communication a lot uncertainties since in case of wrong information, the recipients reply to it as it is. (b) Visual method of communication According to, Spitzberg, and Cupach. (1984). This also keeps workers informed on what is going on within the business enterprise. It mainly consists of picture accompanied by text. The picture or diagram has a meaning that is intended to pass across. This method of communication is very time consuming especially in drawing the pictures and the diagrams. Wrong information is likely to be passed to the concerned people, for example where the person drawing the pictures is not well conversant with relating the intended message to be communicated and the picture to represent this. However, if the pictures are kept attractive and eye catching, (Asante, & Gudykunst, 1989) they tend to draw attention of many people and if the message is well depicted in the pictures, then many people receives it. c) High tech method of communication. This simply refers to use of electronic communication, such as computers, televised pictures, e-mails, telephones as well as telex. It is a method that has facilitated communication process in terms of speed and reliance. For instance, use of e-mails in businesses for communicating takes a very short period of time and it is very reliable since an assurance that the intended recipients get the information is created. This method of communication is also used to reach people who are very far for example outside the country since there is a provision for Wide Area Network (WAN). This leads to attraction of customers from far and wide, who get to network with the business and hence success is achieved. In addition, accuracy is a very important element that is also achieved through use of this method as well as provision of immediate feedback. However, this method of communication is very expensive, for instance, it costs the business enterprise a lot of resources to buy computers, VDU screens as well as fixing telephones and telephone lines. Leiss, (1990) states that effective communication is the key factor that enhances administrative function. Effective communication simply refers to passing of the required messages to the intended recipients and ensuring that the messages reach the targeted people who are the recipients. It also entails use of the right communication channels that ensures which ensures that all the recipients have got the message as well as using the correct and the right language, which ought to be polite in passing messages. Administration is a very important practice in any business organization since it is through it that a peaceful working environment as well as an organized running of the organization is achieved. For the administrative functions to be satisfactorily met, effective communication should be encouraged. Guidelines to effective communication include: The urgency of the message to be communicated should be considered so as to be able to choose the effective method of communication. Here, very urgent messages should be communicated through High tech methods while those which are not urgent can be communicated through written methods. In order to communicate effectively, the administration also should consider the target or rather the audience. If for example, the target recipients of the message are deaf people, then the best methods of communications to be used are visual and written methods. Using oral communication in this scenario hinders communication and this leads to communication barrier, something that affects the business negatively leading to its collapse or losses. Effective communication is also achieved through realization and consideration of the other people’s interests, values as well as respect for their well being. This means that, no messages that demand people to do things that they cannot afford or are beyond their capabilities should be conveyed to the people(Stocklmayer, Gore, & Bryant, 2001). Effective communication should also put into considerations the time when the message is being conveyed to the recipients. For instance, Messages that come from the administration at the closing hour of the business when most of the workers are in a rush to reach their respective homes or attend to other duties are most likely not to be given the required attention (Allen, 1987). This then leads to poor flow of messages within the hierarchy. However, messages that are released or passed to the recipients in the morning hours are likely to draw quite a lot of attention from the recipients. This leads to a very nice flow of information and the overall result is success to the business since coordination will be maintained. Conclusion. Personal networking is very useful and important. It is one of the most attributes that a person can use to reach higher levels of success for example when one secures a good job through his efforts in meeting and making new friends. Networking is also very essential in business for it is only the way through which the businesses get to be known by quite a lot of people who also become the customers and this translates to success.
